Dancing with the Stars mainstay Julianne Hough will be part of the much anticipated remake of the 1980s film musical “Footloose”. This will be the pro dancer, singer and choreographer’s first stab in filmmaking after being a competitive dancer and TV star for a long time.
Julianne will join Chace Crawford in this Paramount venture to recreate the 1984 cult classic starring Kevin Bacon and Lori Singer.
“Footloose” tells the story of Ren McCormack, a teenager who was raised in Chicago but move to a small town where the local government has banned dancing and rock music.
