Together with actor Alan Cumming, Hollywood hottie Evan Rachel Wood joins the cast of “Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark,” the upcoming Broadway musical about the famous web-slinging superhero.
Wood will be playing Peter Parker’s girlfriend Mary Jane Watson. Alan Cumming, on the other hand, takes on the role of Norman Osborn, a.k.a. Green Goblin, one of Spidey’s arch-enemies.
The musical, directed by Julie Taymor, begins preview performances Feb. 25, 2010, at the Hilton Theatre.
With the role of Spider-Man still vacant, an opening date is still yet to be announced.
