The movie is about a mysterious stranger who offers Norma, played by Cameron Diaz, and her husband Arthur, played by James Marsden, $1 million to push a weird button, which, he says, will kill someone they don’t know. The film basically revolves around this dilemma that the couple has, who at that point is having some financial problems. A different approach to the thriller genre by director Richard Kelly.
“The Box” also features Frank Langella, Gillian Jacobs, Deborah Rush and James Rebhorn. “The Box” is based on a short story by Richard Matheson entitled “Button, Button”.
