Apple Jam to Feature Lost Beatles Tracks

The Beatles

Apple Jam, a two-hour concert, will feature solo Beatles material and several unreleased Lennon-McCartney compositions this coming August 7th in Seattle. This is to give way to the release of their new CD “Off the Beatle Track”.

This upcoming CD showcases early Lennon-McCartney compositions released by others, but never by the Beatles while they were together. Instead, the songs were given to British contemporaries like Billy J. Kramer, Cilla Black, and Peter & Gordon. These artists in turn produced a sizable body of hits, including “Bad to Me”, “A World Without Love”, and “I’ll Be on My Way”, proving the quality and timeless nature of the Beatles songwriting and music.

Off the Beatle Track” is slated for commercial release on September 9th of this year. The 15 songs contained on this CD include “I’ll Keep You Satisfied”, “I Don’t Want to See You Again”, “Like Dreamers Do”, “You Know What to Do”, “Bad to Me”, “It’s for You”, “I’m in Love”, “I’ll Be On My Way”, “Hello Little Girl”, “A World Without Love”, “Tip of My Tongue”, “From a Window”, “Nobody I Know”, “Love of the Loved”, and “One and One is Two”.

Aside from the Seattle performance, the Apple Jam will also perform all of these songs at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool on August 31st.

There will also be a special guest performance by Alan White, legendary drummer for Yes, John Lennon & George Harrison.
