As the production for the second film on the Twilight franchise, New Moon wraps up, attention is now being turned to the film’s soundtrack. While fans are buzzing over the possibility that Adam Lambert wants to record a song for it, director Chris Weitz didn’t mention the American Idol’s name in a recent interview. However, two other artists were mentioned for the project: Thom Yorke of Radiohead and Kings of Leon.

“We are just starting to put together what bands are on the soundtrack, so it’s kind of like keeping ten plates spinning at once,” the director said. “Everything is still kind of up in the air, but I am surprised at some of the bands that have said they’re interested… The criterion will still always be what’s right for the movie at that given moment, but Thom Yorke is interested; we might, if we’re very lucky, get Kings of Leon to do something.”
It can remembered that Radiohead’s “15 Steps” closed out the first movie. So it is possible for Thom Yorke to get the go signal for another single.
Also, new still photos from the upcoming movie has also came out. And here they are.
