It looks like long-time “American Idol” judge Paula Abdul won’t be coming back for the next season of the reality talent show. This after reps for the musician told reporters that, “Very sadly, it does not appear that she’s going to be back on ‘Idol’,” saying that AI producers have been rude and disrespectful by not offering her a new deal.

This statement coming after news of Ryan Seacrest signing a new deal for the show that amounts to up to $45 million for three years. Looks like Paula is a bit jealous of that deal.
Reps for Ms Abdul also said that she is now considering to start her own show that will be in competition with AI. But if can be remembered that this has been done by Paula a few years back with Paramount and just flopped.
Reports say that Paula is actually getting $5,000 a week from her original contract with Idol.
