The Disney 3D guinea pig film “G-Force” took the No. 1 spot at the weekend box office, beating last week’s weekend winner “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.”

The animated film, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, features the voice of Hollywood stars Bill Nighy, Nicolas Cage, Tracy Morgan, Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis, Sam Rockwell, Jon Favreau, Penelope Cruz and Steve Buscemi. The movie took $32.2 million during its opening weekend.
“Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” came in at No. 2 at the weekend box office, making $30 million. Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler’s new romantic comedy “The Ugly Truth” took the No. 3 spot with $27 million followed by the horror film ‘Orphan’ followed with $12.8 million.
