With the Michael Jackson controversy still hanging by a thread, music stars will again pay tribute to the late King of Pop by remaking one of his classic songs, “Will You Be There“.
Performers slated to be included in the projects are John Mayer, Lionel Richie and Whitney Houston. Usher, Dionne Warwick, Wyclef and Jermaine Jackson are also joining the three in recording a remake of the song
Shawn King, wife of controversial TV news reporter Larry King, is the mastermind and head of the said project.
Jennifer Hudson, who sang the sone at the historical memorial for the late musician, is not sure to join the project as she just gave birth to a baby, according to Shawn.
The proceeds from the song will be split 50/50 between The Larry King Cardiac Foundation and LaToya Jackson an unspecified charity close to MJ.
