The numbers are definitely jaw-dropping when talking about the midnight gross of Stephanie Meyer’s book series, Twilight Eclipse. Needless to say, it has set another box office record.
Twilight: New Moon, which was also starred by Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson, pulled $26.3 million on its opening. Reports say that Eclipse had a modest $65-$70 million budget. No doubt the studio will have an easy make back by the end of the weekend.
