Lady Gaga has raised the ire of outraged Beatles fans after she was photographed playing music John Lennon’s piano in panties.
Sean Lennon, son of John Lennon and his wife Yoko, uploaded a photo of Lady Gaga playing the famous white Steinway and Sons grand piano while wearing a short black negligee and fishnet stockings last Friday to his Twitter account.
With gaga at mom’s house, she’s belting on the white piano…” Sean scribbled beneath the controversial snap, which he was forced to defend a short time later.
“Pianos meant to be played. Why is everyone so uptight? What should we do, lock it away in a dusty room? So judgemental…” Lennon Tweeted.
Lennon encouraged incensed fans to “lighten up” as the furious fans rallied on:
“Life’s too short. There’s enough real problems in the world,” Lennon said.
Lennon then went onto explain that the piano had been given to his mother and that his father was not as uptight as his critics. In a series of posts on the microblogging site, Sean wrote: “Pianos are meant to be played. Why is everyone so uptight?”
“What should we do, lock it away in a dusty room? So judgemental… Come on, lighten up… life’s too short, there’re enough real problems in the world.”
“Firstly, he gave that piano to my mother for her birthday, it is hers, secondly, he was not uptight the way you seem to be.”
